It’s said that everyone has a book in them. Whether it’s a good book or not is the question!!
If you’ve always wanted to write a novel, a memoir, a non-fiction book or even a short story or blog – then I’d love to help you find writing success!
Here’s what I offer to help you:

Workshops
Writing workshops that cover key writing techniques and skills.

Writing Groups
Writing Groups where you can meet other writers

One on One help
Chapter reviews, plot work or beta-reading.
Workshops
I run four different writing labs – in person in Sevilla and Leeds or one on one. The dates are advertised in my meetup groups, so if you’re interested, join the group and you’ll be able to book to attend! I can also do a personal session with you if you’re not able to attend the writing lab. Just get in touch and we can discuss. They cover:

Writing Lab 1: Brilliant Plots and Starting Off!
Whether you’re a pantser and hate planning, or a full outliner, you should know the key things that make a plot and great story arc in fiction, or an engaging book if you’re writing non-fiction or a memoir. You also want to make your first few pages fabulous. In this workshop you’ll create a roadmap for your book to start you off right!

Writing Lab 2: Creating Character and Dialogue In this workshop we deep dive into how you can craft characters that are engaging, interesting and complex. Then tips and techniques on how you introduce them into your story (because it’s not about describing their hair colour!). Then we tackle the dynamics of dialogue and how to make this engaging and move your story forward. You get a chance to hone your dialogue writing skills and character descriptions.

Writing Lab 3: Secrets of Structure This workshop covers understanding different POV’s, how to write them and when you should use which and when. Then we talk through the different ways to structure the narrative in your story and lastly we deep dive into the different types of edits that your story could (and should!) go through, and you’ll get a chance to do some exercises to hone your editing skills!

Writing Lab 4: Pitching and Getting Published Find out the different paths to be published and the pro’s and con’s of each – from someone who’s been both traditionally and self published. Which path might be right for you? Find the skills to being a writer vs a published author (there are some key differences!) and learn how to pitch yourself and your story.
Writing Groups
I run the Sevilla English Writers Group which includes writing labs, a book club and other events.

One on one help
If you’re wanting some personal guidance with your writing, then I have helped a number of writers with 3 key areas. There is a charge, however I have kept the pricing low, as I know life is currently quite expensive – and helping a writer on their journey is something I absolutely love! Here’s what I can help with below.
Please note: I am unable to help any writer who uses AI to write. I hate what AI is doing to creative writing and other arts. I refuse to use it, and I don’t want to help you if you use it. For those who don’t use AI, here’s what I can help you with!
Create your book! If you’ve finished your first draft (or final draft), whether it’s a novel, non-fiction book, journal or a workbook and you’d like to see what it looks like as an actual book – I can create this for you. This includes the layout of your book, and cover creation. It’s fiddly but making your book look professional can help sales or make you feel especially proud when you hold it in your hands! I will liaise with you on the book cover design, and the content layout, and you get final sign off. You can choose the following:
- I create a PDF set of files for you so you can upload to KDP / Amazon or other platform. This costs €125.
- I create a paper copy for you and send it so you can see what it will look like when published (or just for yourself if you want to then work on editing further). €150.
- You can also choose to have 5 or 10 copies sent if you want to distribute it to family or friends. The investment for this is €200 – €250 (depending on numbers of books).
Storyline development: If you’re not sure about your storyline or plot, then I can do a storyline review for you – to see where the story isn’t working, and what might need to happen. You’ll need to complete my plot analysis document so I have all the details I need to check on your theme and narrative, and that it matches your plot. I will provide you with written feedback about what works and what issues I can see. This is £130/€150 and I can come back to you within 2 weeks.
Chapter edit: If you haven’t got a writers or critique group and/or are without a writing mentor – then I can be that for you! You can send me through a chapter (2-4K words) and I will give you detailed feedback on writing protocols, parts where I wanted more information or where there’s too much (or it’s not reading well), your characters, your dialogue, exposition and what didn’t work for me and why. This is £31/€35 and usually I can come back to you within a week.
Beta-reader: If you’ve finished and edited your book, then I can read it as a whole and provide you with detailed written feedback on any plot issues/holes, character arc’s and overall writing. This takes me between 2 – 4 weeks and is £220/€250. You will need to complete my beta-reader questionnaire when you book so I know a bit about you and your approach.
Do let me know if you have any questions. You can get in touch here. Or book your pack below:
Testimonials
If it wasn’t for Angela, I would have never self-published my work. Not only did she give me very hands-on practical advice about publishing, but also she helped me to build the courage to get my writing out there when I was going through phases of impostor syndrome. Her love for writing is contagious and I could not imagine having a better mentor by my side.
Angela designed and laid out my novel and did a cover. I was so pleased with it! I knew I still had a lot of work to do on it, but I wanted a copy to celebrate my first draft being done. Angela suggested I take it out to dinner and I have to admit, that I did it.
I got my workbook done and it looked very slick. I give it out at training. Angela set me up so I can print them off myself but I could never have done this without her help.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise seeing how my book cover really captured the mood of my novel. And inside it all looked very professional too. It was a very easy process and Angela was very friendly and supportive through the whole thing.
Writing Bites
I’m also writing a book about writing a book…..
The amount of information about how to write can be overwhelming (as well as the number of books out there about writing), so I’ve taken the essentials and minimised it all down to the key things you need to know. I’ve used my own extensive writing experience, as well as research from hundreds of articles and books. And this all goes into my workshops, but also will finally go into a book called Writing Bites.

Writing Bites will cover how to:
• Understand your writing style and use this effectively
• Structure your book and use different tools and techniques to plan out what’s going to go where and when
• Write characters, exposition, narrative, dialogue and non-fiction
• Write your plot summary and submission letter when you’re ready to try and get published
Release Date: early 2026 (coming soon!).
